Verification tiers

Every published number carries a coverage tier, a confidence label of 0, 1, or 2, stating how much of the underlying is verified. Money settles on tier 2.

0Computed from public chain state onlyon chain reads, no corroboration
1Loss events corroborated by public reportingon chain plus sourced reporting
2Loss reconciled against attested recordson chain plus the protocol’s own records

On a live market the book, the loan coupons, and the collateral status are verified on chain. The historical loss record is mostly public reporting, marked as such, and not yet checked deal by deal, so it carries a lower tier than the live book. The tier travels with the number.
